The NAWA PHC Polonium competition has been concluded. The winner is a scientist from the Jagiellonian University.

NAWA has announced the outcome of the call for joint research projects between Poland and France PHC Polonium.


The aim of NAWA's joint research projects between the Republic of Poland and the French Republic PHC Polonium is to support the mobility of researchers carrying out research projects agreed and conducted jointly by Applicants from Poland and partners from France.


Based on the recommendation of the Polish-French Joint Committee, the Director of NAWA decided to fund 20 projects to be carried out in 2023-24 as part of PHC Polonium joint research projects. The ranking list includes a project to be implemented at Jagiellonian University, which will be headed on the Polish side by Dr Patrycja Kurowska from the Laboratory of Physiology and Toxicology of Reproduction, Institute of Zoology and Biomedical Research, Faculty of Biology, Jagiellonian University. 

The title of the project: Understanding of new markers of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS): expression and function of SPEXIN in human ovarian cells.
