On 1 December 2021, owing to the expansion of its activity, JU’s Project Support Centre changes its name to Research Support Centre.

The Centre consists of the following branches:
- Office of the Research Support Centre;
- Bureau for the Strategic Programme Excellence Initiative at Jagiellonian University;
- Research Assistance Service;
- Domestic Research Programmes Service;
- International Research Programmes Service;
- Development and Education Programmes Service;
- Legal Assistance Service;
- Remuneration Eligibility Service.
