Until the end of October 2018. there is a possibility to submit applications to the scholarship program of the Kościuszko Foundation for the academic year 2019/20.
The scholarship program of the Kościuszko Foundation is addressed to scientists and artists - Polish citizens who have documented achievements in their field of research or art and live permanently in Poland. Candidates may apply for funds for studies or research in any discipline. The scholarship value is from 9,000. up to 30,000 USD, and the financing period - from three to ten months. Scholarships will be awarded in three categories:
- Fellowships – for candidates with a doctorate or higher degree;
- Grants – for students of doctoral studies and people who work on doctorates;
- Teaching Fellowships – for academic and didactic staff of higher education institutions - it is to assist in the implementation of individual research projects in parallel with the conduct of classes, lectures, seminars on language, history and Polish literature at American universities.
In 2019, on the occasion of the centenary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and the United States, the Kościuszko Foundation will also award a special Centennial Award. It will be a three-month scholarship for researchers who study Polish-American relations after Poland regained independence in 1918. Its amount will be 9,000. USD.
