Topic of the call: Individual research and training grants are aimed at developing the creativity and innovative potential of experienced researchers by working on an individual research project in the academic or non-academic sector (especially in enterprises) in Europe and / or abroad, as well as participation in conferences and various types of training, including developing skills and extending knowledge e.g. in the field of technology transfer, team management and research projects or entrepreneurship. The grant agreement is always signed between the EC and the institution of an EU member state or associated with H2020.
This type of MSCA activity includes two types of projects:

  1. European Fellowships, which allow the implementation of a grant from 12 to 24 months in any EU or affiliate country (the mobility rule applies). Within them, grants related to the return to a career after at least a 12-month break are also available, as well as reintegration grants enabling scientists to return to Europe;
  2. Global Fellowships give the opportunity to carry out the research first in a third country, followed by a mandatory 12-month return to Europe (there is no mobility rule, you can also carry out the research in Poland). Within both types of project it is possible to plan the implementation of some activities in another European institution from the non-academic or academic sector on the principle of secondment from 3 to 6 months.
