Subject of the competition

The purpose of the competition is to support the careers of young researchers, by creating opportunities for full-time employment and conducting scientific research in Poland, and enabling them to gain knowledge and experience during internships in high-quality foreign research centers.

The competition is aimed at individuals who hold a doctoral degree obtained in the year of application or in the 3 years prior to the year of application (between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2022), or whose doctoral degree will be awarded by June 30, 2023. The 3-year period may be extended by breaks in the academic career, as detailed in the resolution.

For the research project manager, it is mandatory to plan for full-time employment, based on an employment contract, in the entity planned as the site of the project and other than the entity where the project manager obtained his/her doctoral degree . The project manager is required to plan and complete a foreign internship of 3 to 6 months in a foreign research center.

March 15, 2023, until 4 pm 

How to submit applications

The application should be submitted only in electronic form through the OSF system, in accordance with the application procedure.

Competition supervisors, regulations and internal deadlines will be determined by a separate announcement from the UJ Vice-Rector.
