Call description:

CELSA is an agreement of selected European universities (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Charles University in Prague, Czech Technical University in Prague, Loránd Eötvös University in Budapest, KU Leuven, Semmelweis University in Budapest, University of Ljubljana, University of Tartu, and Jagiellonian University and University of Warsaw) aimed at promoting closer cooperation between the agreement partners in the sphere of current challenges involving research activity.
CELSA cooperation is oriented towards the organization of workshops, exchange of experience in the field of education, problems of open science, evaluation of scientific effectiveness, review processes, or knowledge transfer with a particular focus on joint projects and participation of partners in research programs, Horizon Europe and other European programs and educational programs (Erasmus+).

The CELSA Research Fund finances research projects implemented through collaboration between researchers from at least two CELSA-affiliated units, one of which is always KU Leuven. The primary purpose of the funded projects is to prepare applications for Horizon Europe. The topics of the projects are not specified, and their selection depends solely on the preferences of the collaborating research groups.

Application deadline:

The call for proposals runs until December 15, 2022.
The application is submitted by a KU Leuven researcher via the electronic KU Leuven Internal Funds system.

UJ Internal Regulations:

In accordance with the Order No. 56 of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University dated July 11, 2016 on: Rules of Procedure for the Preparation and Implementation of Externally Funded Projects at the Jagiellonian University, those interested in participating in the competition please forward to CWN:

• by December 7, 2022:
  • a working version of the application (electronic version of the application in the form of a PDF file, sent to the address of the competition supervisor at CWN),
    The Research Project Application Form together with the VAT Eligibility Assessment Form, completed and submitted in the electronic UJ Project Zone system, available at: https://strefaprojektow.uj.edu.pl/.
• by December 12, 2022. - The full version of the application (electronic version in the form of a PDF file sent to the address of the competition supervisor at CWN).

For the sake of the quality of the submitted projects, especially in terms of meeting formal requirements, I encourage you to consult applications and submit documents to the CWN at earlier dates than those mentioned above.
