Subject of the call:
The call seeks to identify the best Research Teams conducting research material to the national development strategy, instrumental in the development of innovative products in the area: medical biotechnology – oncology.
JU internal regulations:
In view of the rigorous provisions of the call documentation, e.g. project financial security, joint liability of partners and intellectual property rights in the context of obligatory commercialisation of project results, Jagiellonian University’s authorities will approve projects for applying in the call on an individual basis, taking into account declarations submitted.
Preliminary declarations of participation in the call prepared in accordance with the template attached as annex 1 to this Communication should be sent as soon as possible, no later however than by 23 May 2022 to the email address of the call assistant at the RSC.
This is to inform you that should a research consortium be joined by a private entity in the context of joint liability of the project’s partners, Jagiellonian University reserves the right to investigate the financial standing of the private entity in question.
Project proposals signed by the Author and the Head of the organisational entity (i.e. dean, director/head of other organisational entity) may be submitted electronically (a document signed with a qualified electronic signature or in the form of a scan with a handwritten signature alongside a version of the proposal open to editing).
Based on the declarations you will have submitted, Jagiellonian University authorities will decide on the approval for your further proceeding with application in the call. The call assistant at the RSC shall inform you of the decision of JU authorities.
Once the information on the proposals selected for further processing, the call assistant at the RSC will contact the representative of the host entity of the selected project to determine individual dates for delivery of project documentation (i.e. a research project entry form and a VAT eligibility form, a consortium agreement for projects carried out as partnerships, and a draft and the final version of the proposal).
The terms of application outlined in this Communication do not apply to JUMC entities.
