Subject of the call:
M-ERA.NET Call 2022 for international research projects in materials science and engineering. International consortia consisting of at least 3 research teams from at least 3 countries participating in the competition may apply for funding. The leader of the Polish team must hold at least a PhD degree.

The NCN Board sets the amount of funding in the amount of EUR 1 000 000 for research projects implemented by Polish scientific teams in the M-ERA.NET 3 Call 2022 competition, covering the subject matter:
- Materials for energy;
- Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces;
- High performance composites;
- Functional materials;
- New strategies for advanced material-based technologies in health applications;
- Materials for electronics.
Deadline for submission of proposals:
Deadline for Joint Abbreviated Proposals (pre-proposals): June 15, 2022.
Method of submission:
- international level (two-stage): Both in the first and second stage of the competition Polish research team in cooperation with foreign partners prepares a joint application in English. The leader of international consortium submits the joint application in an electronic form via the international M-ERA.NET Submission System.
- national level (one-stage):Polish research team prepares a national application for the Polish part of the project which should be submitted to NCN in electronic form via OSF within 7 days after the deadline for international joint application submission. National applications are submitted only at the full proposal stage.
Internal regulations:
It is necessary to make a project application and submit the VAT eligibility form to the UJ Project Zone 14 days before the closing date of the call for pre-selection proposals.
