Subject of the competition:
The purpose of the program of the Minister of Education and Science is to support entities of the higher education and science system and other organizational units working for the dissemination of science in the implementation of projects aimed at building cooperation between entities operating in the field of science and entities operating in the socio-economic sphere.
Eligible for funding under the programme are projects addressing the following thematic areas:
- Scientific Excellence;
- Science for Innovation;
- Humanities – Society – Identity.
How and when to apply:
JU internal regulations:
In view of the fact that under the call one university may submit up to 4 proposals in a given calendar year, I await, until 7 February 2022, your declarations of entry drawn up in accordance with the template attached as Annex 1 to this Communication. Please make your selections, and send in only one proposal per Faculty/Entity.
Project proposals should be submitted electronically (a document signed with a qualified electronic signature or in the form of a scanned hard copy with signature alongside its digital version).
- A JU entity submits with a call assistant at the RSC one proposal indicated by the Head of the JU organizational entity (Dean, Director/Head of other organizational entity).
- A JU entity submits with a call assistant at the JUMC Department for Research one proposal indicated by the Head of the JU organizational entity (Dean, Director/Head of other organizational entity)
Based on the declarations sent by you, the authorities of Jagiellonian University will decide on further mode of proposal processing. Call assistants at JU Research Support Centre and JUMC Department for Research will inform you of the authorities’ decision.
In case of failure, on part of JU and JUMC entities, to submit the declarations of entry by the above stated deadline, or in case of failure, on part of JU authorities, to select project proposals, another deadline for submitting declarations of entry in the programme “Science for Society” will be set. Once the information on the selection of the proposals to be further processed has been communicated:
- Applies to JU entities: Principal investigators in the selected projects are required to submit project documents (i.e. research project entry form and VAT eligibility form alongside the draft version of the proposal) with the call assistant at the RSC within three months of the announcement on the projects selected.
The research project entry form and the VAT eligibility form should be filled out in the electronic system JU Project Zone at: https://strefaprojektow.uj.edu.pl/.
- Applies to JUMC entities: The call assistant at the Department for Research will contact the representative of the entity hosting the selected project to consult individual deadlines for delivery of the call documents.
