Purpose of the call:
The European Green Deal is Europe's response to climate and environmental challenges, with the goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.
The European Green Deal is an action plan for a sustainable EU economy. This can be achieved by turning climate and environmental challenges into opportunities across all policy areas and ensuring that the transition is fair and inclusive.
The European Green Deal competition is cross-cutting and covers 10 areas, including:
- climate,
energy,
transport,
construction,
agriculture,
biodiversity.
The Commission expects that the projects will result in innovative solutions that deliver concrete results for citizens.
Additionally, an international virtual brokerage event on the European Green Deal Call competition will be held on October 13-14, 2020.
