Purpose of the call:

I call of the Government's Hydrostrategic Program "Innovations for Water Management and Inland Waterway Transport". 

The Hydrostrateg Program was created in response to the need to improve the efficiency of water resources management in Poland.

The program covers three research areas:

• water in the environment - biodiversity/bioproductivity,
• water in the city,
• inland waterways.

The main goal of the Program is to implement new solutions to improve the efficiency of water use and management in Poland.

Thematic Scope:

1. Increase retention and improve water quality (using the principles of sustainable development and sustainable water and wastewater management).
2. Implementation of new survey methods, observations and tools to support monitoring and assessment of the condition of aquatic and water-dependent ecosystems.
3. Increasing the use of waterways for inland navigation with existing resources.

Deadline and form for submission: 

31 October 2022  (preliminary declarations of participation in the competition prepared in accordance with the template attached as Appendix No. 1 to this information, please submit immediately, but no later than 12 September this year to the e-mail address of the competition supervisor at CWN).

UJ Internal Regulations:

Due to the strict provisions of the competition documentation concerning, among others, financial security of the project, joint and several liability of the partners, the consent of the Jagiellonian University Authorities to apply in the competition will be taken individually on the basis of the submitted declaration. Preliminary declarations of participation in the competition prepared in accordance with the template attached as Appendix No. 1 to this information, please submit immediately, but no later than 12 September 2022, to the e-mail address of the competition supervisor at CWN. Attachment No. 1 signed by the Author of the proposal and the Head of the organizational unit (i.e., Dean, Director/Manager of another organizational unit) can be submitted in electronic form (document signed with an electronic qualified signature or as a scan of a hand-signed proposal along with its editable version). Based on the declarations sent by you, the Authorities of the Jagiellonian University will decide on the possibility of participation in the competition. The competition supervisor at CWN will inform you of the decision of the Jagiellonian University Authorities. After providing information about the applications selected for further proceedings, the competition supervisor at CWN will contact the representative of the unit of the selected project in order to set individual deadlines for the submission of project documents (i.e. the Research Project Application Form and the VAT Eligibility Form, the consortium agreement in the case of projects implemented in partnership, and the working and final application).
