Call description:
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks call (call identifier HORIZON-MSCA-2022-DN-01-01) under the new Horizon Europe (HE) programme, for projects aimed at comprehensive training of early career researchers (without a PhD) by international and interdisciplinary research teams, in collaboration with the non-academic sector.
The objective of Doctoral Networks is to implement doctoral programmes by partnerships of organisations from different sectors across Europe and beyond to train highly skilled doctoral candidates, stimulate their creativity, enhance their innovation capacities and boost their employability in the long-term.
Doctoral Networks are open to international consortia of universities, research institutions, businesses, SMEs and other non-academic organisations. They should include
- at least three independent legal entities, each established in a different EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country and with at least one of them established in an EU Member State
- on top of this minimum, other organisations from any country in the world can also join
- specific conditions apply to Industrial and Joint Doctorates
As from 2022, resubmission restrictions will apply for applications that received a score below 80% the previous year.
Application Deadline:
The call for proposals will run until 15 November 2022 at 5:00 pm (Brussels time).

In accordance with the Order No. 56 of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University of 11 July 2016 on: Rules of Procedure for the Preparation and Implementation of Externally Funded Projects at the Jagiellonian University, please forward to the competition supervisor at CWN:
- until 31 October 2022:
- Draft version of the application - an electronic version sent as a PDF file, containing at least: completed administrative part of the application and a draft budget.
The Research Project Application Form and the VAT Eligibility Form, only electronically via https://strefaprojektow.uj.edu.pl/.
- Draft version of the application - an electronic version sent as a PDF file, containing at least: completed administrative part of the application and a draft budget.
- until 8 November 2022, the final version of the application (after submission to the Funding and Tender portal system) - an electronic version as a PDF file.
Close cooperation between the unit where the project will be carried out and the respective Doctoral School is recommended during the application preparation stage.
Submission of an application is conditional upon acceptance of the research project application form in the Project Zone service by the Head of the UJ unit, the Director of the Doctoral School and the UJ Quaestor.
Out of concern for the quality of submitted projects, especially in terms of meeting formal requirements, I encourage you to consult applications and submit documents to the CWN earlier than listed above.
