Purpose of the programme:

Marie SkłodowskaCurie Citizens competition (call identifier HORIZON-MSCA-2022-CITIZENS-01-01) under the new Horizon Europe programme for one- or two-year projects funding the organisation of a European Researchers' Night on the last Friday of September each year. 

The goals of the project are: (1) to popularize research and the scientific profession among the public; (2) to raise awareness among children and young people about the role of scientific research in everyday life; and (3) to encourage young people to pursue scientific careers. The long-term education provided in schools is made possible by the "Scientists in Schools" activity, which can be implemented as part of the project. 

Application deadline:

7 October 2021.

How to Apply:

Applications must be submitted electronically through the Funding & Tenders Portal
Applicants are required to indicate in the Funding & Tender Portal as the UJ contact person the competition supervisor at CAWP. 

JU internal regulations:

Pursuant to the Order no  56 of JU Rector 11 July 2016 on: The procedure for drawing up and implementing projects funded from external sources at Jagiellonian University persons interested in entering the call are asked to deliver to the CAWP:

  • by 23 September 2021:
    • draft version of the proposal (electronic version of the proposal in the form of a pdf file sent to the address of the call assistant at the CAWP),
    • a research project entry form alongside a VAT eligibility form, filled out and submitted to the electronic system JU Project Zone, available at: https://strefaprojektow.uj.edu.pl/.
  • by 30 September 2021 – final version of the proposal (electronic version of the proposal in the form of a pdf file sent to the address of the call assistant at the CAWP). 

Submission of an application is conditional upon approval by the Head of the UJ unit and the UJ Quaestor of the Project Application Form in the UJ Project Zone electronic system.
